Summary
Modern societies manufacture chronic disease that in some cases can be prevented. What are the costs
and benefits of prevention? This presentation will provide the participant with methods of prevention and
lessons learned.

Objectives
  Identify methods of identifying risk factors and costs associated with those factors
  Evaluate prevention methods to improve a population’s health status.
