Summary
There is a lot of discussion on cardiometabolic risk factors, but what are they and how does this impact my population?  Dr. Davis will provide information on managing the risk factors AND the patient to bring about healthier outcomes

Objectives

  • Describe motivational and pharmacological interventions that bring about positive outcomes for patients with cardiometabolic risk factors

  • Review the impact on overall health status when a 10% reduction in weight is achieved

  • Evaluate the relationship between overall health status and managing comorbities
