Continuing Education
In
order to receive continuing education credits for the
Fall Managed Care Forum, participants are required to
turn in a completed CEU/CME validation form and
completed evaluation form which will be provided at the
conference. Certificates will be mailed or emailed to
the address given on your registration form within four
weeks of the conference.
As accredited providers, NAMCP and AAMCN must insure
balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor
in all its activities. All faculty participating in this
activity are expected to disclose to NAMCP/AAMCN any
real or potential conflict of interest and to the
audience any significant relationship or affiliation.
The intent of this disclosure is not to prevent a
speaker with any significant financial relationship or
other relationship from making a presentation, but
rather to provide listeners with information on which
they can make their own judgments. It is the policy of
NAMCP and AAMCN to resolve any potential conflict of
interest with faculty.
Speaker disclosure information will be provided to
participants in the attendee syllabus.

Physician Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in
accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the
Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)
through the joint sponsorship of the American
Association of Integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems
(AAIHDS), the American Association of Managed Care
Nurses (AAMCN) and the National Association of Managed
Care Physicians (NAMCP). NAMCP is accredited by the
ACCME to provide continuing medical education to
physicians.
The National Association of Managed Care Physicians
designates this live activity for a maximum of 14 AMA
PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only
claim credit commensurate with the extent of their
participation in the activity.
This live activity, Fall Managed Care Forum, with a
beginning date of November 8, 2012, has been reviewed
and is acceptable for up to 14.00 Prescribed credit by
the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Nursing Accreditation
The
American Association of Managed Care Nurses (AAMCN) has
been approved as a provider of continuing education by
the Virginia Nurses Association (VNA). VNA is accredited
as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the
American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on
Accreditation. A maximum of 14 contact hours will be
awarded for nurses who complete this activity.
The American Board of Managed Care Nurses has approved
this activity for a maximum of 14 contact hours towards
CMCN recertification.
The Fall Forum and AAMCN Pre-Conference has been
approved by the National Association of Healthcare
Quality for up to 18 hours of continuing education
credits for CPHQ renewal requirements.
The Fall Forum and AAMCN Pre-Conference has been
approved by the Commission for Certification in Case
Management for up to 18 hours of continuing
education credits for CCM renewal requirements.
ABQAURP diplomats can now use their non-ABQAURP
continuing education credits for their recertification.

Participants of this program wishing to have the
American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)
consider this program for Category II (non-ACHE)
continuing education credit should list their attendance
when applying for advancement or recertification in
