To the best of our knowledge permissions  for use of any copyright materials was received by each individual presenter. NAMCP does receive permissions to record, transcribe and publish materials (slides and audio) from each speaker. These permissions are on file at NAMCP headquarters. Continuing Education
In order to receive continuing education credits for any of these enduring activities, participants must complete and score at least 70% on the post test for the activity. Certificates will be emailed to participants within one week of submitting the post test.

As accredited providers, NAMCP and AAMCN must insure balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor in all its activities. All faculty participating in these activities are expected to disclose to NAMCP/AAMCN any real or potential conflict of interest and to the audience any significant relationship or affiliation. The intent of this disclosure is not to prevent a speaker with significant financial relationship or other relationship from making a presentation, but rather to provide listeners with information on which they can make their own judgments. It is the policy of NAMCP and AAMCN to resolve any potential conflict of interest with faculty.

The National Association of Managed Care Physicians (NAMCP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education to physicians.
The American Association of Managed Care Nurses (AAMCN) has been approved as a provider of continuing education by the Virginia Nurses Association (VNA). VNA is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Economic Implications on Early Diagnosis of Hyperthyroidism
 Graves disease is the most common cause of hyperthyroidism. It is caused by an abnormal immune system response that causes the thyroid gland to produce too much thyroid hormones. Graves disease is most common in women over age 20. However, the disorder may occur at any age and may affect men as well.
